LTL Connect Guide
LTL Connect provides access to bookable LTL rates as well as tracking, Bill of Lading and cost retrieval over API. Shippers will have their shipment and location data transmitted to uShip where they will receive a link to view rates and quickly book on uShip.com. Post-match details can then be returned to the integrator app for use in TMS, dashboard, or in-house shipping systems.
For partners, LTL Connect can help solve shipping where:
- You have LTL shipment data and need to obtain rates without retyping into a new system
- You have a TMS with many customers but no reliable, bookable LTL rates
- You do not want to pay or manage logistics for your referred shippers
- You do not want to hold uShip credentials or account data in your system
- You want to accelerate the process of creating listings on uShip.com
How it works
- Shippers will click a "Get Rates" button within the partner system. Shipment and origin information will be transmitted to uShip.com and partner system will receive a link in the API response payload to inform this button.
- Shipper will be redirected to uShip.com where they will either create a new account, sign in, or be directly passed in if they have an active login.
- Shipper will either enter/confirm the destination and time-frame information on a custom-labeled partner page, or be passed directly to rates (configurable on partner choice).
- Shipper will select their desired rate and their freight will be booked.
- After shipment has started, partner dashboard can pull tracking info, Bill of Lading, and cost information into their systems via API to display to their customers.
